The 14k nib is much thinner, and thus much more flexible, than my two M400s and my M600. It's a downright pleasure to write with.

It's a Surefire Lumamax L4, Novatac EDC 120P with extended body and a 4Sevens Quark 123 Mini Titanium (a gift from David Chow, Mr. 4Sevens himself :) ).

There's a few more where those came from... Surefire E2, E1W, E2W, L2, U2, 4Sevens Quark CR2 Mini, Quark 123² Tactical (warm tint), Maelstrom S12, Preon SS, Preon 2AAA Ti, Leef/Surefire/Wolfeyes frankenlight, Mag85, CMG Infinity, a couple of Inova's a Zebralight (H30 I think), a bunch of Fenixeses, some chinese cheapies, a bunch of vintage lights and a few more I forgot... :)

Haven't bought any new ones for a while now. Recent developments just don't offer enough added value to update. A few more lumens here, a new UI there, sure it's all nice, but never in the combination I'm looking for (2x123 light, deep carry clip, 2, maybe 3 programmable levels of which the lowest has to be 1 or 2 lumens, warm tint). So far the Quark 123² Tactical does what I need...

Anyway, Let's get back to pens now... Unless someone wants to bring up headphones and see me get carried away even more :)

mhphoto: I think I'm in love! That M320 is the first Pelikan I've wanted to own. Are all the nibs flexy? Now I just need to find one. Nice pens & photos.

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

The conversation went something like this.....

I understand, but that case is in X, and as you know I'm not licensed to practice in X.

<REDACTED>

mmmm hmmm

<REDACTED>

Yes, you are a great client, and I'm happy to find you an attorney in X, but I can't give you an opinion.....

<REDACTED>

mmm hmmm

<REDACTED>

Well, yes, if the case had been in Nevada I would represent you, ......

<REDACTED>

But, the case isn't filed in Nevada.....

<REDACTED>

Anyway, you get the idea, the conversation was going in circles.

Wow Mhphoto that is some really nice Flex on those Pelikans! didn't know they offered that much flex on their nibs! I am saving to buy a Pelikan M600.

Sadly none of the other modern (14 karat) Pelikans offer the same line variation as the M320 (though the M800 and its 18k nib offer sweet, smooth, heavenly variation). Here's a comparison.

Sorry for the non-analog reply. Had a short night, a long day at work and then an intensive session at the gym to try to lose some weight. I really am dead tired and can't be arsed to walk to the other side of the room to get my pens and paper...

Uncle Red: the other ink is Hero 232 blue-black. I kind of like it, but it only works well in 2 of my pens: jinhao x750 and hero 529. And the 529 really is a bit of a last ditch solution for when all other pens fail.

When the Jinhao runs out of ink again I'll put the blue-black in again. I'd hate to waste a bottle of ink by not using it.
