I pulled out my daughter's pens.

They're Pelikano Jr.'s, right?

Yep, it's a cigar case, I can attest that you can drop it from the second floor of the library with books and the pelikanos inside will not crush. The Pelikano Jrs are an inexpensive pen marketed for kids. They have Medium nib that is closer to broad. They come with a cartridge but accept a converter. Overall, they are great pens for the price.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

My two new Waterman Gentleman. I'm kinda braggin' on the "Royal" pen - it came from Amman, Jordan and has the royal crown etched on the cap top. It is clearly not a normal Gentleman, the part that you screw the barrel on to is not brass and is a thinner metal, the nib markings are not the same, and it came with a funky converter Marked Waterman but is metal with a plastic plunger/piston. It's a custom pen and I feel lucky to have it in my collection.

Thanks to Amberlea for the Akkerman samples! My group order goes in tomorrow!

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

The big one on the right is the Visconti Homo Sapiens. Top to bottom on the left (these are most of my tiny pens): no-name eyedropper, Peter Pan lever-filler, John Hancock eyedropper, the next four are Peter Pan eyedroppers, and the last is Guider Mini graciously provided by fellow member Mesu.

Sometimes you get bored...

And no, I will not write out the contents of coops_defaults.php as 1. There's code in there I wrote for my employer and I'm not allowed to disclose that and 2. I'm too lazy to write 5342 lines of php functions and comments in cursive. :D

Spent the past couple of months playing with copperplate and realising that Apache Sunset looks best with an italic nib. Forgive the hand...

Wouldn't it be great if Nakaya used TWSBI piston fillers instead of Platinum cartridge converters?

My fuzzy associate brought me my POTD (a TWSBI Rose Gold EF) and said, "I can't bee-lieve it's St. Patrick's Day again already!"

He's bearly tolerable when he gets like that. :P
