Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

That's a very pretty Estie. Does it have a gold nib or is it just the way the color came out in the photo?

I really love my red Kaweco Ice Sport. It writes very smoothly and with the screw cap I have no concerns with throwing it into my pant pocket, if I don't have a pocket on my shirt. :)

I really like red pens. If I could put a nib on a firetruck......hmmmm, now there's an idea.

An extreme example of how paper can effect line variation with a FP:

Messy sotto2 . . . :)

Today the view from my coffee shop window was this thing:

http://www.taskyprianou.com/fpn_kobe_46_falcon.jpg

Pen: Namiki Falcon SF

Ink: I know I'm fickle but, my new fave of the moment - Sailor Kobe 46 Museum Blue Grey. (Thanks migo984)

Looks a lot like 54th Massachusetts but a tadd less green and plays with water beautifully. I LOVE IT!

Love seeing Falcons.

Have you noticed different inks produce nib creep? Some produce very wet nib creep and others produce none at all? I'm in search of a blue black with shading that doesn't creep. I have a bottle of Tsuki-yo on order, and I hope it works out.

And after dealing with the Trust company who ran me in circles....I was back on the phone with Bank of America. You will notice the circles are infinitely more complex.

Not always it has to be a FP.

Bought a small set of Lyra special pencils (Rembrandt Art Specials Box) to try something new.

This evening I tried a Lyra Rembrandt 309 medium charcoal drawing pencil.

Looked at a web tutorial how to draw an eye and tried it.

Charcoal is IMO quite interesting to use.

..... one eye looked a bit strange alone on the page so I scribbled an second eye and a little bit arround it.....

WOW, my de Balzac is much more turquoise. Is that otherwise stunning pen a dry writer?

Thank you! I think it's called "abstract" banking and it makes as much logical sense as do mortgage backed securities.
