Relax

This thread grows very quickly and it's hard to read all the posts...

Not a problem. I'm use to being a Bozo! LOL! ;)

I'm switching out the images because I don't keep them on the FPN server, I run out of room too quickly.

I regularly look back and soon over the 200 or so pages of this thread.

Pens I never knew of or liked before have become favourites and inks I'd never thought to try are now in regular use.

What lovely, clever people you all are

Thank you.

When I was a teenager Ruthless People was in the theatres. For months after watching the movie, my parents would turn to each other and say, "give the money to bozo." The line is actually, "give the bag to bozo" but the bag was full of money.

I think of Bozo Frosty as young, naive, innocent, gullible and always good for making us smile and laugh. Bozo was on the TV when my parents were kids, and I remember seeing some of his shows when I was young. He was the friendliest of clowns even when my brother was terrified of all the other clowns including Ronald. He always had the bright red bulbous nose.

Thanks for the explanations and the story, the video is really very funny, I did not knew it. :)

My judgement of Bozo Frosty's character was already like you described it (even I did not know the name background). :)

Hi,

My photobucket is down temporarily, but I've attached a picture of a nib I just ground. This is my first grinding, and it's a little sharp on the edges now that I've used it a while but I can smooth them about after I've used it a bit. I don't really like the flex nib on a Noodler, but this is alright now. The railroading's purely because I tried to flex it, which works a bit but only when the ink's flowing well.

I've got a really nice vintage flex pen in the mail though, so I'm excited about that :)

Cheers,
Joe

All the Bozo references are accurate. I chose the name because of the cultural references. Also a "simple" snowboy was easy to doodle.
