Attika, is this what you're using? I love the color of the ink in your picture, but the sample on the website looks completely different. Which color is a more accurate representation?

attika89, lovely "scribbles".

Diamine Amber eh?

Oh no, not another ink on the radar . . . : )

Thank you Tas!

Now that phaus wrote it, I'm pretty sure it is the Sepia and not the Amber as I thought.

Thanks for pointing it out phaus!

Now that you've brought my attention to it, I've checked some reviews and I'm a bit confused.

I've received a few cartridges and the little plastic bag was labeled that way. But it seems to be more of a sepia for me.

My Rotring 600 is really dry, so that can also add to it.

Based on the reviews and the sample it is most probably the Sepia I guess.

Thanks. I guess I'll be ordering a bottle of Diamine Sepia tonight. Beautiful drawings by the way.

Hi everyone, lots of lovelies on display, both pens and writing, and a host of new folks since I last checked in. I inked a pen today that I've not used in a while and, like some of you I'd guess, I wonder now why its been so long since this pen was used.

I love dipping into this thread. I don't own a vintage pen but I get all sorts of ideas for both pens (one day I'll jump) and inks. This one today brought a huge smile to my face. Don't know why but the combination of pen, ink and writing sang to me. It's been a very long day but a big thanks to dcpritch for sharing this and ending my day with a smile!

GORGEOUS pen! :notworthy1:

I just received this one today. I love this particular Platinum nib style, and the music version was something I've wanted for a long time. :puddle:

ooh. do you keep all of them inked at all times?

Yes I do and these are not the only ones... Perhaps I should not, but I can't help myself. I want to use them. Most of the time I carry at least five in my bag.

Tanzanite, I'm the same!
I have around 15 - 20 loaded up on my desk and 5 or 6 (together with a water brush) always in a pencil case ready for an outing.

I used to worry about non starters but seem to have the right combination of ink / pen at the moment.

This is one of my favourite expressive pens an Eversharp Skyline loaded with "Black Mike"

I concocted "Black Mike" after stumbling across a gorgeous book called "Everything Is it's Own Reward" by Paul Madonna.

I'm new to fountain pens, and only have these two that I bought second-hand. I haven't even opened the ink yet.

If you think everything is going well... you obviously have no idea what is really going on!
