Sorry for the poor photo quality -- using my cell phone camera at work. Not sure what's up with the greenish glow. Perhaps the pen is radioactive. :hmm1:

I'm using a Sheaffer PFM that my dad gave me over 20 years ago (it was a gift to him back in the day). I put it in a box when he gave it to me and did not take it out until recently when the fountain pen bug bit me (really hard!). I didn't know what it was until I went to a pen club meeting last Sunday - the folks at the meeting immediately knew what I was holding. I've been using it for 2 days and I love it.

 

I posted this sample on another FPN thread yesterday, but here it is again. The poem is not mine (it was written by a friend of my mother and was never published to my knowledge), but it gets me everytime.

Here are my favorite dip pens. The fountain pens in this picture are used as dip pens as well... a sort of Franken-dip-pen that takes advantage of the fountain pen feed.

I must remember to let Velvet Black dry before I take it's picture. I've had the same 4 pens for the last couple of days but tomorrow will be different since these showed up today.

The Diamine inks are Washable Blue and Ochre. The Sailor is the Apricot, I finally bought a bottle.
