OOOH, thank you!!

Now, if you are interested, you can refill that Zebra with a Platinum Preppy converter. It works much better with ink other than Z ink.

Today using a Zebra V301 fountain pen... $1.99 at walgreens clearance section. Propriatary ink cartridge and a wick feed.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

LWJ2, I like your Waterman's but I'm thinking the Conklin nib you have is cracked and not long for this world. I hope it lasts a while, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Ivan, what's the deal?! Are you defecting to fine point nibs? I have a wide nib that'll fit your Kaweco, if that's what you need:

Prvt. Toter, I love looking at your sketches and doodles. What fun you must have!

Here are a couple of the ten pens I have inked today:

Dang, I dig that music nib!

DC Pritch --

You're correct, it is cracked. I'm babying it and looking around for nibs. Meanwhile, I'm going to enjoy it, I've got less than thirty bucks into it, plus a sac. It's surprisingly lightweight and is forcing me to lighten my touch -- although "punch" might be a more appropriate word.

Does anyone have an idea of how to clear old pix, or increase the storage limit? I seem to have hit the maximum allowed.

Pterodactylus --

I had that same thought earlier this afternoon. Heck, all he can do is either laugh at me, quote me an outrageous price, or just fix it for a nominal fee.

Thanks, you confirmed my line of thought.

The Aurora 88 looks interesting, I did not expected that such a nib would be flexible.

Great pictures David & Attila

Let me add a non Eternal Swan #6:

I don't own any at the moment, but I've had several Aurora 88s with flexible nibs. Here's a photo taken a couple of years ago with the nib shown above. The 88 is a great piston filler, classy, and almost always a superb writer.

fpn_1383163897__aurora_88_sample_1.jpg

And hey, you folks complaining about the lack of selection of nibs at pen shops - imagine living where there aren't any pen shops within 150 miles, and never being able to try out a pen before buying it. Every pen that comes your way is just a hope and a prayer that it will be a nice writer. Such is the life of those who live in the hinterlands. :(

... well, its really not that bad, I just thought I'd poke some fun your way.

Happy Wednesday!

DAVID

Pterodactylus, the Montblanc 142 KM is awesome!

David, yeah, the Aurora 88 is incredible. High on my wish list! Problem is, I don't know where and how to find a good one.

Here's my pen of the day. I got it at a local art supplies store - got talked into it by a sketch artist :)
