Sorry for the blurred out text but that was my diary :D Anyway I got my clear Platinum Cool (medium nib) yesterday (super fast delivery from Cultpens so they get a shoutout! Ordered Tuesday and they had it delivered in Finland by Friday for the weekend). I put a converter on it and filled it with some Platinum Silky Purple ink and started writing     Soooooooo much nicer than the 5 EUR Dollar demonstrator I got the day before. I am so in love with this Platinum Cool I don't even know. I want to keep writing and writing because it's just so wonderful and effortless to write with. I went hiking today and I had to take it with me so I could stop and write down thoughts  It was shiiiiny and the purple ink looked so pretty in the fall sun light. Fountain pens... who knew! Well, obviously you guys :lticaptd:

Anyway, that is my Platinum Cool on a hiking trip with me. I need to get a nice cloth pouch for it though so it won't get scratched...

That's because I'm waking around Freehold Mall right now with the Mrs. The best I can do is show you the pen I'm carrying...

How do you guys post? Using the "attach files" button? Such a strange mix of the old and the new... handwriting messages and then posting them electronically to the web!!

Oh, and I love the pattern on your pen Tringle... as well as the colour of your ink.

Just had a quick look on Ebay and there are some Waterman 52s on there - but do they all have flex nibs? What should I be looking out for please?

mhphoto, that cat picture captures a moment better than almost anything I can remember seeing. Beautiful orange pens, too!

Dillo, I saw your pens this morning and have been thinking about them all day. Great pens!

Thanks! The Marathon looks nice. I can't really use oversized pens that comfortably most of the time, so I usually stick to smaller pens.

Anyway, this is what I'm using today. It has Diamine soft mint. I decorated the converter a long time ago since I the converter has such a wide chrome band, and I also wanted to make it more unique since the Pilot Custom 74 is a fairly common pen.

This pen has a really nice fine Pilot nib. It takes about a week and a half before I have to refill it usually.

I really like Japanese pocket pens though.

They all have fine nibs, and I usually refill them once a week or every five days for the Sailor if I use it a lot.

I forgot to say I'm using Noodler's Bad Black Moccasin - however, the page image is somewhat over-exposed, the ink itself is very black. I'll have to switch flashes and use a lower output.

Several folks asked about posting photos, I use the "More Reply Options" then under "Attach Files" I click on "Choose Files" and select the images I wish to post. Return down a couple of lines, then select "Add to Post" for each photo. You have to put a couple of returns betwixt each photo and add each one.

Tringle, the Pilot Myu-90 is an excellent pen. It's one of my favorite nibs. It has just perfect flow, and a very nice feel. I think it's also much better built than the Parker Falcon 50, another pen with an integrated nib. The Pilot integrated nibs are all excellent to use and very well-made. They are very durable and reliable pens.
