Hi,

As usual, I'm using "everything" today, but this one stands out. I have the original nib, but it's in storage. It's stainless steel. I put in a heavily modified Pelikan M400 nib. It's been constantly inked since I got it back from Italy. It's been fully restored. I'm still afraid of the day I uncap it upside down and dump all the ink in my lap. It's one of my favorite pens to use although It's really fat. If you are wondering, the other stuff in the picture is how I fill this pen and refill cartridges. Although you don't usually use Pasteur pipettes with a filler like this, I've found that the filler gives me a lot of control. I can control the speed at which the ink is picked up and released. The glass pipette is also inert and easy to sterilize.

Also, what's actually in my pencil cases today. I have two Optimas, two Nakaya pens, a Sailor, and my safety pen. When the case is closed, the pens can't touch each other.

Here's what's in my other case

And what's on the table Rotring Core, Aurora Hastil, Aurora 98, Aurora 88p, and the safety pen again since I've been using it a lot today.

Dear Sir,

thanks very much. I have exhausted my allotted disc space in this forum, so I started my blog where I post the pictures. I maintain the same theme : the economy range pens. I would appreciate comments from all members.

warm regards

@sanyalsoumitra - I can't seem to reach your blog. The link seems to be wrong.

Kindly try once more - it worked from my pc. Do not know what might be the problem.

Warm regards

Soumitra Sanyal.

mhphoto, that cat picture captures a moment better than almost anything I can remember seeing. Beautiful orange pens, too!

Dillo, I saw your pens this morning and have been thinking about them all day. Great pens!

Hello from a Newbie on this site,

I really enjoy seeing everybody's nice pens and their wonderful handwriting. Today I received a lovely new green fountain pen with a Wahl Eversharp nib. I'm very new to flex fountain pens (have used dip pens) and started off with a Noodlers last week but then wanted to try a more vintage nib. Sadly I'm a little disappointed... so far I find I get more variety and pleasure in writing with the Noodlers nib than with the Eversharp!

I'll keep at it though. Wish I could get my hands on one of these really soft and really flexible vintage nibs...

My HS is finally back from getting its nib swapped by the vendor. It will now spend its days waiting to be used on a meteorite found in the Mexican desert -"earth meets space".

Love those Homo Sapiens!! Hoping to get one for Christmas. Until then, I got one from my collection list today. My goal? Collect one hard rubber Waterman of each nib size. A 58 is next, then 5 and 7, and then I cash out my retirement accounts for a model 20 and the tiny doll model. :lticaptd:

I love variety! A #2 on the left, #1 on the right:
