Hey, stop whinging man, the handwriting is fine and legible.

Italics - lots of fun to learn and very rewarding as things progress.

Watch for stuff by Caliken as well, he has some great things taht you can print off and practice from - Penmanship forum - that is what I do,

Nice pens too!

i dont seem to get the amount and quality of line variation i see other people get, is it maybe because the nib is a 0.7 crisp italic? perhaps i should purchase myself a 1.1 mm one?

Well,

I have just ground a Pilot VP to CI. It is a .8 now, but it gives a very crisp line (in my opinion):

So I don't think it is the size of the nib. Maybe it is a CURSIVE italic? Or maybe the angle of the nib to page? Anyway, more clever people than I will be able to give better advice.

Can you please tell me more about this Eversharp pen. I was given one just like this and I'm wondering what it is and what they are worth.

Thanks so much!

No disrespect meant, but IMO that's not even crisp much less very crisp. Much more stub like to me.

Very crisp would have hairline horizontals.

Here's the second of 3 antique finds from yesterday:

A double jeweled Vac that almost caused my knees to buckle, when I flexed the nib. It has a date code of "1."

{I'm typing the post because the diaphragm needs replacing.}

That looks great - use it as a dipper and show us the flex? Please??

Sure...when I'm done with work.

Gorgeous penmanship Plitsumi. Is that a Waterman 12 PSF pen?

Thanks for the compliments. What do PSF and POC mean?
