Wow, that's a beautiful pen.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Cyabea,

I considered the black inks which are lovely and surely the carbon black would suit the pen well, but in this time of year, would you consider an orange ink? Doodle from another FPNer.

My Wiland Star pen was inked for the first time in memory of Terry Johnson, founder of Private Reserve inks, who passed away earlier this week. I encourage as many as are able to post a handwritten note in this thread. Thank you, Mr. Johnson, for providing us pen lovers so much color with which to enjoy our instruments.

I am kind of loving this new MB 342 of mine. At first I wasn't sold, but now I'm learning to really enjoy the flex, steel, OB nib.

I have this Kandinsky listed for sale, but I'm strongly thinking about rescinding it. I inked it up for a writing sample to sell it, but the nib is so smooth and I love the way it writes, and it feels so comfortable in my hand, I'll be glad if no one contacts me for it. :)

These 2 pens arrived on Monday. I bought them from Lyle Ross (no affiliation) after seeing the Blue and Orange Gallatin in another thread and falling in love with it. Both pens are beautiful and the iPad photo doesn't do them justice.

The Richland 1 is green, grey and black and the depth of colour is amazing. It has a B nib which isn't too broad and is a dream to write with.

The Gallatin 4 has a M nib and is a delight to write with. The colours are largely Blue and Orange with hints of light blue/turquoise.

I am delighted with them and may never buy a "mass produced" pen again. Well, at least not for a couple of months.

Originally ordered a broad nib but almost three weeks later they had not arrived so I got the medium instead. Very happy with it, and (Graf von) Faber-Castell still does the best steel nibs by far.

I am no longer very active on FPN but feel free to message me. Or send me a postal letter!

Now that is a lovely simple and clean looking pen! Very nice. And the ink looks very "tigery" - just in case you have a tiger styled pen that still hasn't been inked ;)

saskia, I love the Kandinsky. If it were mine I'd send it to Greg for a retip into a monstrous and smooth-writing stub, then I'd never sell it.

mhphoto, you mean I'm not the only who remembers 70s-era roller rinks?!

cybaea, I have a GvFC Ondoro that I bought as an inexpensive user pen but the nib is fantastic! Its the first modern pen I've owned by that company and I am really impressed, as I am by the looks of yours

Newjelan, great pens!

I inked these two pens yesterday to show someone and now they're off to Kings College London - Strand where I hope they will be thoroughly enjoyed.

The ink used on this one is a mix of modern Quink Black and Diamine Ancient Copper, which gives a little color to the black ink along with tremendous shading.

An all Pelikan day today.

Mont Blanc (Montblanc? I'm never sure) Midnight Blue isn't my favourite blue, but it's sober and waterproofish, so it's a go-to ink.

The salesman at the Fountain Pen Hospital seemed horrified that I put red ink in my M200 demonstrator as soon as a bought it. Not sure why - I like to be able to see that a pen is holding a non-blue/black ink colour.
