Today, its my "Day of the Pencil".

Is it blasphemous ?

Still I take the risk and open the can. Here we go.

And I run for cover :lticaptd:

Pankaj - The day of the pencil is perfectly acceptable. Anything that writes, used in writing etc. 📝✒️✏️

Ptero : The Pelican in blue looks elegant. It can be a go-to pen, provocative but modest.

Akustyk : The walnut ink looks amazing. BTW what is the nib you use that writes so thick vertical yet so fine in slant. It must be an Italic I guess. I have simply no idea, but love the style of writing.

A simple inexpensive Indian Eb ED with a regular steel fine + nib purchased casually while strolling alongside a stationery mart, with a bit of serendipity. Occasionally I reach out to this light weight for a change. The green mottled pen is filled with Pel Bril Red for a mocking contrast, tho I least like the faint hearted Pel red. Content of the writing is not relevant, it is just some serendipitous noting about ink. I think some dark green or walnut kind of ink could be its best companion.

Thank you, Tringle!

Had a local Goldsmith work out the dents in the nib as well while I was in university today. The person asked what the nib was, told him it was from a fountain pen. "I don't know how to work with those!" he responded.

Took talking but I ended up saying that it was just a piece of gold, so the dents could be worked out. :P

(Ink used is a mixture between Waterman Black and Blue Parker Quink. Feathering on the printer paper :) )

Not the worst pen I have ever had from a manufacturer, but easily in the top-5 of my hall of shame. And it is a shame, for if the (Michael Masuyama) nib wasn't skipping like a schoolgirl on speed, and if it worked at all with any other ink than F-C's own, it would be just right for me. (Sighs.)

I am no longer very active on FPN but feel free to message me. Or send me a postal letter!
