I realized that this is a terrible picture, showing no color variation across the samples! Sorry about that. That's the best I can do with my old camera. One day, I will get a proper camera for these shots :)

Mhphoto:

Those are lovely pens, and your penmanship is magnificent; it reminds me of the little blue-haired mafia ladies who addressed and sometimes wrote (presuming you had more money than Rockefeller AND Vanderbuilt combined) invitations to weddings and whatnot. If there were just a bit more definition in the jpg I could pull your dingbat, convert it to a line image and use it as a dingbat in text composition. Hate you so very, very much.

Please let me know when you and your family go on vacation or visiting for a weekend so I can burgle your house.

Leon

Post Scriptum: Looking back at your post, I really like that lovely Waterman. I missed one like that on E-bay the other week. Hate you even more. - lwj

What the---I got caught! :ninja: I knew subscribing to this thread was going to be a double-edged sword...

Well okay, to be fair, I'll submit something. But I've been in more of a doodling than a writing mood lately, so it's more like a sketch. Still---there's words, too, so maybe I can get half-credit? XD

Next up, a lovely vintage Aurora 88 I got from Jon's Vintage Pens...with less than lovely handwriting (I was too excited with my new toy to worry about aesthetics...)

Heh, who knew semi-hooded nibs could be flexy?

And finally, my beloved Danitrio Takumi, currently off for repairs...

I suppose this can be the beginning of future writing snapshots.

EDITED: To add more photos. Ha! Take that, guilt trippers! I now stand cleansed and innocent of leeching for at least a few more posts. =3

Ptero, very well said! More people who contribute, the merrier!

My writing is rather messy today. :/

Cool stuff! Your handwritten replies are all awesome. I will need to write back soon...but until then, just wanted to clarify something...

The Platinum GLAMOUR is a wannabe jumbo pen in miniature. It's more fat than big. XD I find thicker pens more comfortable for writing.

Also...the Aurora is much smoother now. It just needed to get the ink flowing to get rid of the "toothiness". It flexes something wonderful---must show that off someday, too. =)

Right, next step is to write out my replies on paper rather than typing them up!

Getting quite fond of Parker Quink. :P

Writing is still quite messy and not up to its usual par.

The CI nib is picky on inks. Ancient Copper and Quink ran best in it. As smooth as glass.

YMMV on nibs of course! They have limited edition Radiant Reds and Diamondlines right now for the 27! Both look spectacular!
