Three new pens I received yesterday. One is a mystery, as you'll see in the photos below. All-in-all I'm quite pleased with my purchases; the Romus was a whim, the Pelikan a bargain from a very nice lady in the Los Angeles CA area who deals in estates; the Waterman — my 'mystery pen' — was a what-the-hell, at less than fifteen bucks I can't lose. If any of you kind folks can give me an idea of what model it is and when it was made, I'd appreciate it.

 

Take a look; I'm going to go back to gloating about my new Pelikan.

Sleepycat: What a find, from my understanding the blue black Sheaffer Balance is a well sought after fountain pen by collectors. Hubby found you a real gem! Congratulations, you are initiating drool factor amongst members with your post!

Tringle...it surprised me when he came home with it as he usually rolls his eyes at my pens. LOL! My every day pen here at work is just a Lamy Vista, so the Sheaffer is a treat.

 

Wow...love that Falcon!

 

ps: When I "grow-up" I want one of those Visconti Homo Sapiens. Big sigh.
