Great nib but it sucks back the ink.

The pen is mightier than a bean burrito.

So I've only owned a FP for about a week now so cut me some slack on my failed attempt to use the flex ability of my new Ahab. http://i1155.photobucket.com/albums/p548/xtina0388/2012-07-08_15-20-47_590.jpg

I know my lines are not very nice and my spacing and sizing is horrible but I'm getting there. lol.

Cut you some slack?

I'd rather congratulate you! That looks pretty nice to me, Especially with you just having the pen a week!

Way to go and :W2FPN:

Well done, they make great italic pens.

Did the same to mine a while ago - think it is under the penmanship threads - but mine almost bleeds after I fiddled with the feed

Ah, if oyu go up on this thread to post #407 is a pic there of it

Sorry to butt in, but this is the thread that finally made me register rather than just read. The pens and penmanship on display are truly a joy to behold. To that, I add only an odd little cross-section of my accumulation of pens. Three explanatory points before the pictures: (i) I am sampling a number of blues and blacks to see what will take over for Visconti Blue and Black as my daily writers, so there's a whole lot of blue below, (ii) I don't like to transport pens back and forth to work, so I have the work rotation and the home rotation, and (iii) I recently went on an inexpensive pen binge on ebay (if one is good, then the ten pack must be better, right?. . .), and my reward/penance was to make myself work them into the rotation. So my Lamy 2000 and a Pelikan 205 were sidelined to make room for two Hero 616's. That'll teach me.

Pictures taken with my Droid phone, and the pads are just run of the mill white lined office paper.

I suppose it's time I had a go. Conway Stewart No 58 in green/black marble. At present, it's filled with Diamine Denim.

I don't use these Rhodia pads a lot as the grids are rather too 'strong' but that's another post.
