Well, it's obvious to all that Roman numerals appear to be my short suit today. Really, it's supposed to read 20-viii-2013. Ignore the mm -- LWJ

I feel sorry for the nib on my 52. :) But I am looking around for a new one!

Uncle Red: surprisingly, I was quoted in at $85 to get the nib on my 52 repaired.

Mr. Mottishaw quoted me in at $45 to get a new nib of the same type outright, and he directed me to a nib value chart which I never knew was there on his site. :) Ron Zorn also said he'd charge me in the area of $45 - $50 for a new nib as well.

So, you can see what the best option is for me here. It's just that it requires more hunting around. And definitely not through Ebay for me... So yeah!

Nice!

One thing about Pokermon, he under advertises!!

I always find his pens perform far better than what he says they do

Hi Nashten,

You could also take a look at:

I have no experience with them, but remembered the URL from another thread regarding retipping and crack repairing.

Thank you Uncle Red! I am really enjoying this pen. It is the most hassle free pen I own.

Change is not mandatory, Survival is not required.
