Ok...now that I am home I can upload some more FP love. I decided to move from the Oppo 5 to a proper camera for this one (nikon D600)

What a beautiful pen. Love the ample nib size! Where can one get Fred Faggionato pen's online? any link?

Hi TVL and welcome to FPN and this thread!

Fred Faggionato is located in France and has a website that appears to be "under construction", as the information there doesn't seem complete. I found Fred to be wonderful to work with, very helpful, and responsive to questions. I don't think his pens are generally available at retail or online outlets and so you will need to deal directly with him. His website does provide an email address for contacting Fred: fred.faggionato@orange.fr.

@Pter - WOW I love the little guy!

@Lobe: Not sure how familiar you are with stubs - still learning, myself... I was given a Sheaffer Calligraphy set, which included B, M & F nibs (2.0, 1.5 and 1.0 mm, respectively). Certainly gave me an appreciation for the various widths! I had previously bought an Esterbrook J with 2314-M-Relief stub, which was my first foray into Stubland, but, after playing with the Sheaffers, I am thinking very hard about getting a 1.5mm stub for my TWSBI...

Zoni, here's a photo comparing the TWSBI 1.5 nib to a custom Minuskin 1.3 stub on a Parker Vac, taken in January when I had just received my TWSBI Mini. I was surprised how nicely the TWSBI stub nib worked out of the box, and also how close in line width it is to the Minuskin 1.3 nib.

OLobe, thanks for the nice comments, your writing looks like it will be perfect for stub nibs; in fact, it looks really nice with that Lamy 1.1 nib you are using!

vintage Carter's Harvest Brown, from the 1940s, I think. Its hard to find a bottle these days.

So here's a great vintage pen, not seen all too often, and one that shares a name with a modern pen company:

Sorry about the ugly nib - I didn't have the time today to clean it off for a "money shot", a la Cyber6 :D

The gold repousse cap top is exquisite:

It has an interesting, rectangular shaped feed - very old school, and nicely free-flowing

DC, That Edison is beautiful... I have a few modern pens, but somehow always seem to have the vintage pens inked. Waiting on a Summit that will be my first forray into the BCHR rhealm... It needs a little TLC, sac, clean, etc. but should be back in use within the next week.... I always look forward to your photos, beautiful post and pens.
