Hi Stompie,

He's still preparing his flight to Norway, at least he found Norway on his map, but I'm not sure he can find it in real life.

Until I tried to draw a little bit a few days ago (triggered by Line ... Thanks again) I drew 20 years nothing, or best case some times a stick men like you.

But it's fun, you are highly welcome to join the "Bird war story" with some drawings.

I'm sure a man with such a fabulous handwriting can also draw.... Imagine it as a kind of "flourish" :)

Line, I almost choked on my coffee this morning when I saw your Viking gull. Priceless!

Ptero... so much detail to take in. Love the cookbook :)

Way too far behind to try to catch up, just what I am writing with today.... and a couple of thoughts...

This is what Daimine Pumpkin Orange looks like when you leave it in a Noodlers Flex for few days laying on the desk whilst you are sent to a forengn country. Freaky nib....

scribbled this before I thought of something worthwhile to say....

Regarding the Knox nib on my Jinhao 159...

If you think everything is going well... you obviously have no idea what is really going on!

Prvt. Toter, that Flex nib looks like something that came out of a sci fi horror movie. It's only 6:40 AM and I nearly screamed.

@Pter - that ink looks beautiful. Your handwriting is (as always) exquisite.

Hi Ptero, thanks for the concern. I wrote the earlier post while under the spell of some prescribed medicine and am now amazed at what I did; my usual scrawl has now become completely illegible (plus it hurts like the dickens to write). Looks like I'll be out of commission for a couple of weeks but I'll continue watching and enjoying all the great posts and will jump back in when I'm able.

Uncle Red (I'm typing now instead of writing :) ), Rustic Brown is almost exactly the same as Oxblood, at least to my eyes. When side by side you can scarcely tell them apart. And thanks for the advice, I'm trying to take it easy; my hand speaks to me loud and clear when I don't. :o
