Don't Just Tell Us About The Pen You're Using, *show* Us!

Hi there! I don't usually post because I think I don't have much to contribute, but I was kind of bored this afternoon, and I felt like writing something just because.

 

I have a Parker Vector with a fine calligraphy nib (italic? The stub/italic/etc field scapes me)inked with Noodlers Gruene Cactus Eel,

so the first thing that came to my mind was García Lorca's "Romance Sonámbulo" because the word verde (green) is used twenty-four times.

I'ts in Spanish, and my handwriting isn't as beautifull as the ones exhibited here, but that won't stop me.

 

Also, seeing how this thread is keen on reptiles, I threw in my own Giant Miniature Felt Alligator.

I forgot to mention the pen and ink. It is my trusty Parker 45 fitted with a Fine nib, filled with Pilot Blue, from the 30ml Japanese Bottle.

Woah, that is some beautiful script right there!!!!! and a Beautiful pen too!!

 

I bought it and I have just not been happy with it from day one. I think it is a bad design - ie, the cap is too shallow and I gotta think twice when putting it back on or it catches the nib and twists the tines.

I found the feed quite weak as well, but John has fixed that. Just one of those pens I reckon, others are very happy with theirs, so I don't know, I just prefer it as a space filler in my tobacco box to keep my filters from running into the baccy.

 

With all the fun I have had with my Ahabs, I think I should have rather bought another 30 of those instead!

Amigo, Business 101 - stop buying all your own pens - sell them to customers!!!! you will find profits definitely increase that way!

This one and the Lady Patricia one you wrote with earlier - man I wanted one of those!

Real quick, plistumi, I think you must have confused my handwriting with someone else's (re: inspired to try italic). Anyway, I love your handwriting! This is a great thread!
