Don't Just Tell Us About The Pen You're Using, *show* Us!

Love this thread and always look forward to seeing new posts. Thought it's time to jump in and post something instead of just lurking. I think I've gathered enough ink and paper to get the ball rolling and submit this as a start. I still need a lot more practice. I like the Ahab and keep coming back to it when the urge to write somthing hits me. Up to now I've always written with italic nibs so this is a whole new experience and I'd rather beat up a cheap pen in the learning process than ruin a vintage. It get's a bit tiring at times but it's still fun to write with.

This is a very well designed pen, almost timeless in its lines.

The gold really enhances the overall 'look' of this great fountain pen. IMHO.

Hi Line,

It's an indian pen from:

http://www.fountainpenrevolution.com/

They have a flex nib as a option to their pens.

I also consider since some time to get one of their pens.

When I look to 00Photo's writing I think I have to get one.

Great, I'm very keen to see it then :)

Line,

Pterodactylus is correct. It is from Fountain Pen Revolution. You have to order the pen and the nib separately. When mine arrived I just followed the video instructions they have posted on their website for cutting the feed channel larger and heat setting the nib. It is very easy to do. I also smoothed my nib just a touch with some mircomesh. I ordered a Dilly as well but found it too small for my hand. I gave it to my daughter to play around with.

I'll have to spend a few minutes this afternoon getting a group shot of my flexies.

Don´t you think it´s quite unfair?

So many cats and only one mouse........ :yikes:

Poor mouse! I have some sketches of one more cat, but he is harmless...

But first... I live in Berlin and don't really know who to turn to about the Sheaffer. I guess this will have to wait until I rob a bank.... I'm sure the pen will be a dream as soon as it gets adjusted.

For now I am saving for a new Duofold...Yesterday I tried one out at the store and it felt amazing.

Anyway here is the lazy cat I was talking about. I drew him on Christmas as he was sleeping. The ink is MB Toffee Brown :happyberet:

Hi Lambretta88,

Great :) I love also these.

You could try to contact Lutz Fiebig regarding your Sheaffer.

He is a very competent repairman, he helped me with a vintage Mont Blanc recently.

I don't think you have to rob a bank to get it repaired.

He is located in Magdeburg, so not very far from Berlin (So you could even visit him personally making a little trip)
