If you are not a dedicated collector, you could allways give it a new home ;-)

Hmmm lemme think on that. It would be like giving up one of my children. If I had children.

After emptying all but 2 of my pens, I can finally start rotating through them (holy (bleep)! I have enough pens to rotate through??)...

First of all

Thanks for demonstrating a fine CI, Uncle Red. I'm pleasantly surprised to see the line variation on a nib that size.

Zoni... that Galileo Brown.. looks almost red... Did you dilute the ink a little? ... The Black Swan in English Roses looks more brown..

And.. Congrats!!!... on rotating your pens...

No, Ptero, please don't stop posting sketces! You were in such a good flow! Us amateurs can't compare ourselves to the pro's. It's room for all.

One of the advantages of this thread; discovering new inks and pens.

Looks like it's time for a new ink!

I want one SO BAD!!!

both ebay.in and ebay.com do not have this color. Any leads to websites where I could purchase them. Thanks for the ink description -- who would have thought that Sheaffer would make such beautiful ones (albeit, after dilution).

Alright, back to searching for KANGAROO Turquoise Fountain Pen on amazon and others. Going to be a long night.

Cheers!

I see dead fountain pens!

Pterodactylus - the re blackening process is a chemical the restorer uses, I have no idea what the chemical is called nor have I asked. I like the mystery. Nice MB 342, I like the look of that pen! I could not read the product you use to clean up ink stains what is it? As you can tell I need it badly!!!

Lambretta - hope we did not scare you off.

I'm using my black Gold Starry 18kt medium nib. It's a wet nib and filled with pilot irizohukisomethingorother purplish ink.

I should be receiving a new package today. I hope it's either a Soennecken, Edacoto or a Watermans glass cartridge pen.
