Where I live, there are lots and lots of beautiful (sea) birds, some of them have travelled almost half the clode to get up here. These days they are working hard building nests, hatching eggs, hunting... Yesterday I came close to three large eagles (we call them "havørn" = sea eagles), and it crossed my mind that I haven't heard of fountain pens called eagles. Do any of you know if there are eagle pens?

 

Seagull is also wondering why no one has named a fountain pen after her. (It hasn't crossed her mind that people don't name beautiful things after birds who defecate on our cars)

Big oopsie in my beginning there too. Still a bit tired and I woke up later than normal!

 

Typewriter is sick in a way that the ball is out of IBM spec, so there is occasional character misstrikes, as seen below in my second to last sentence where it is "an- everyone!" In other words, I just have to type more slowly to circumvent that.

 

 

So strange how typewriters have the same appeal as fountain pens. But assuredly, as before, a fountain pen is involved and was on the writing station of my desk, and not the typing part.

Thanks, Uncle Red & Raths; it was a good trip, but tiring... On the up side, I am now cleared to teach the 4-H rifle program... :-) Next year, I'll add archery or pistol to it...

THE VISCONTI!! IT ARRIVED TODAY. Everything is amazing but one thing.. If nudged the clip can be pushed to sit to the left of the centre and i have to physically push it back to the middle, to the right it just springs back... any ideas? ): seriously don't want to send it back T_T
