Gorgeous nibs! Great photos. Do you have any medium obliques?

Hi line, I don't know if you've noticed but I usually only go for the wider nibs. However, I did find one just for you - a Pelikan 140 with an OM nib.

Thanks, dcpritch! This is the kind of pen I will be hunting for now! (I've noticed that you have a bunch of flexers, broader nibs have just recently come to me)

Hello PensMakeMemories, Good call; it's a Beautiful Blue Safari.

All of my LAMY nibs are italics, I love the line variation.

This new addition is another 1.1mm, which I think is the optimum width for interesting lines and utility. I have tried all varieties of the LAMY nibs and have settled on 1.1mm as the standard.

I can use it for work and still enjoy the line differentiation.

Thank you, yes this ink combo is nice. I like to match pens to inks or vice versa. (a bit crazy I know, but the Universe just runs better! :excl:  ).

Your Sailor 1911 looks very good, I've heard only positive things about them and that the nibs are always smooth and flow well.

Well, enjoy your fountain-pen journey and thanks for the reply.

Best regards,

Steve.

P.S. I think your 'name' is excellent; - says it all really.

Thanks SJH. I 'up-nibbed' to a 1.1 from an EF after seeing all the great writing samples here, including yours and skysora's from months back. I'm very satisfied.

PhilProf;

I have found that I only use italic nibs now.

The LAMY italics are Cursive Italics, (less sharp), and the Sheaffer Calligraphy, (called the No-Nonsense in the USA), are a crisper italic nib.

They are both, IMHO, fine pens.

Enjoy the Journey.

Best regards,

Steve.
