Bella Pens - I feel your pain, I sold a pen recently I was in love with and called the guy to ask if I could buy it back. He was in his coveting mode, and would not hear my pleading. I do like the Bayard Superstyl, nice grid work on the cap and barrel.

p.s. Everyone my apologies again for the horrible photos. Also, if you have not picked up a Rhodia dot pad, you should!

tringle, what an awesome collection of Salz pens! I've not seen so many in one place - and all of yours look to be in fantastic shape. Pretty cool pens for being 85 - 100 years old, aren't they? The few I have are great writers, without exception.

Newjelan, I really like Orange Crush, especially in a demonstrator pen so you can see it sloshing around in there.

Sorry Newjelan and tringle about the earlier post under Bella Pens - I forgot when I posted that I was logged in under that name. Bella Pens is the same as me (dcpritch), only it is a new account I'll be using for sales. Since I became a moderator last month, and especially with all the changes to the Classifieds, it seemed like the best thing was to separate my presence as a member/moderator from any sales activity I might have, in an effort to keep things very above board. Shawn (Watch_Art) is a moderator and has done the same thing; he now posts in Market Watch and Classifieds as "Newton Pens".

I'm gradually getting used to using this nib and discovering its characteristics. I was almost ready to 'store' it but thanks to Pterodactylus, Uncle Red, dcpritch, akustyk, tringle, Raths and everyone for your encouragement I'll keep trying.

Best regards,

Steve.

Here's a 1920's Sears & Roebuck "Webster" pen. Parker made pens under the Webster name in the '30s and many of the Webster pens from that era are remarkably similar to certain Parker pens. I'm not sure who made pens for Sears in the '20s, though some speculate it was National Pen Co. This pen has no barrel markings but the clip and lever are clearly marked as Webster. The gold ends make it pretty darn handsome, I think.

ag99; It's great to see some Latin again; it's been a while.

Especially when it's written with my favourite nib/pen.

I just happened to glance over, and notice the sheen on this ink...

This is Sailor Jentle Grenade, as written with the TWSBI 58, on Tomoe River paper...

Not real sure if I just hadn't been paying attention, but, in a jaw-dropping moment, Mind = Blown...
