skysora, I really like your Eversharp pens. It took me a while (years, actually), to appreciate the Skyline, but I finally caught on. Your Skyliner with its broken clip reminded me of a pen I have - its an Eversharp Streamliner, the little brother to your Skyliner. These aren't seen all that often; the one below is a pretty blue in the demi size, with a great nib:

Hi Uncle Red,

regarding line variations on a pencil:

Andybiotic showed this (for me stunning) little trick in another thread regarding learning to use a flex nib.

He proposed to practice with a pencil before torturing using a flex nib, or to be able to practice the technique even without owning a flex nib

https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/241511-flex-nib-what-next/?p=2624779

It´s amazing, but you only have to write with the pencil like with a flex nib.

It helps when you beveling the lead before according to your writing angle to have a flat spot to write.

This was only (I think) a HB lead, the effect should be even stronger if using a softer lead.

Running to another meeting so I'm trying a different pen - the Ink-Vue was much too distracting! This one is new to me and, at least in my world, way off the grid - its a Japanese F point. I almost think I like it!

DCpritch: Like that Sailor. It is weird not to see a stub, broad nib. How does it feel?

I got this in the mail today:

Hi Plistumi,

the barrel color it great, containing the Telekom pink. :-)

How did you get a custom M200 from the pink elephant?

Did not know at all that such a custom M200 is existing.

Was the pink ink also part of the delivery, and is it also a custom ink for the Telekom?

Great sketches, Prvt. Toter; bugs, fish, birds and elephants matching your ink colours!

00Photo, I’m impressed by your catch at the pen show. Great flexers! I’ve never been to a pen show, but I hope I can visit one at least once in my lifetime. I guess a visit to the collections of some of you people also would be quite an experience!

There are so many interesting pens in the world that I haven’t ever heard of. One of those are the newly shown Bülow pens from Raths and zoniguana.

Today I’m playing with my “birds” again. I’ll never get bored as long as they are with me.

Which ink are you using in the Pilot? I do like the color and shading.
