Be forewarned... I will eye-bang the bejeezus out of your pens...
Never play leapfrog with a unicorn...

Well, yeah; good question! It has to do with money, of course, like almost any other restriction... On the other hand; why collect money when you can collect fountain pens :roflmho:

My attempt at squeezing a bit of line variation into the "B".. Being a left handed overwriter is terrible when it comes to flex =.=" I can manage it on some capital letters and it does look nice but not on anything else.

Thank you for the excellent review! I asked awhile about whitelines, received good feedback, however yours was a review.

Uncle Red:

Having just filled it, I'm curious on that point... I only put 1CC in, so, possible, but I'm also thinking the changes in the angle of pen to paper (was a little cramped on the table, so, rather than working the paper forward, I was working my hand further and further back, getting more and more awkward)

Changing the angle of the pen to the paper and the amount of pressure you can apply can change how a pen writes. I have trouble with my overloaded desk at home. The one here at work is almost as bad.

Skysora, nice paper comparison. I'm stuck on Tomoe River cream paper

Akustyk, my French is a little rusty so I had to look up "Élan vital" - I like it!

Here's a sweet writing pen from the Netherlands, c. 1930s, with an awesome white stainless steel nib made by Stilnova of Germany about the same time. It's hard to tell by looking but this button filler is 5-7/8" long capped! The herringbone celluloid has an irridescent quality that is quite striking.

I inked this up to show a friend and thought I'd post it here, since watching this thread is one of my favorite things to do.
