I continue to be amazed by your work! And the 303 must have a half-cm line variation - incredible! puddle.gif (to both).

The 'new' nib in this Waterman's 52 is still keeping it's secrets from me, or perhaps I spent too much time with Italic nibs while it was away!?

Oh well: practice practise practice! Your penmanship and that of the many other talented writers' in this thread continues to be a goal for me. Thanks to you all.

Best regards,

Steve.

Oh goodness, Danleaf, I didn't mean for you to do that! I've just wondered, especially since getting reacquainted with daily FP use, what sort of Parker my old school "buddy" was lol! It's so kind of you to offer, though. What a great group of folks we have here.

We are very lucky to have discovered fountain pens! :cloud9:

I have used many different pens on this one: 3 different swans, a Pilot Namiki Falcon, two watermans, a commander, most of them with some flex.

By the way; I love your art, Prvt. Toter

I just got a Noodler's Ahab from the Goulets and am playing with it today.

WOW!

I saw your handwriting and had an orgas... um... a climatic moment!!

What style lettering is that? 14th Century or Copperplate? The swishes when you line your T-s are unlike anything I've ever seen before.

Very nice.

Thanks

LH

I see dead fountain pens!

(Noodler´s Ahab - EMF ..... P.W. Akkerman Binnenhof Blues)

Please be foregiving, I think this is my first drawing since more than 20 years.

But I couldn´t resist to try a drawn response.

Thank you! I used irshizuku shin-kai (dipped the nib in water to get the light colour). It is really fun to play with ink and water :happyberet:

Really nice nib, awc! Really! I'm still searching for a nib like that! If I ever find one, it'll be the last fountain pen nib I'll ever have to buy :puddle:

If you're into playing with ink and water you should have a look at Leigh Reyes' YouTube channel.

Off topic: I just LOVE your new avatar. Did you draw that yourself? It makes me smile every time I see it!

Thanks! Leigh Reyes is surely an inspiration for me, a true master at fountain pen art. I've seen her ink and water films and I visit her blog now and then. Lots of things to learn there! (here is a link to the blog: http://www.leighreyes.com/)

Yes, my avatar is home made. It's a caricature of my schnauzer. I'm happy to hear that it makes you smile :vbg:
