Prvt. Toter - haven't really taken the Salix for a proper ride yet - I just flushed about 16 pens, and I'm only keeping three inked for a while.

Check out this little baby brought in by the stork -

Classy arrangement, JazzDoc! I love that crystal ball (or giant drop of water  ), the waterman gold flex nib and your cool handwriting, unlike anybody else's!

I love it when people and pens have spent almost a lifetime together. I used a Parker

arrow almost every day for close to 20 years - until it "sprung leak", and I still miss that old workhorse :crybaby:

Thanks, line! That's a dome magnifier with a 1942 penny beneath it.

Your writing blows me away. :notworthy1:

Smart move, akustyk! If you first start collecting wet noodles, you'll never get enough of them! It'll cost you your shirt! Dip pens are less expensive, tremendously flexible and they outperform fountain pens! :happyberet:

JazzDoc, I love the distinctiveness of your writing!

Here's what I just inked up, an OMAS Arte Italiana Milord (old style), with a HT 18k 1.1mm stub nib by Greg Minuskin, using Diamine Teal. One of my top five favorite stub nibs.

Hi Troy, I use the Upload tab at the top right of each FPN page. The instructions are here and are very easy to follow. Once you use the Upload feature a couple of times you will be a pro at it. One key to uploading via FPN in this manner is to always copy and past the middle code - the "BBCode" (when I say middle you'll know what I mean once you upload the first time - there are three codes that appear below your uploaded picture and the middle code is the one I'm talking about). Apparently there is a technical reason I don't know which makes the BBCode best, but I do know that I've always used the BBCode for uploads and my pictures always appear in threads - they never disappear if either the host or your account has trouble which sometimes happens if you use a photo hosting site.

That's how I do it, I'm sure there are other opinions. If you find a way to upload from an iPhone I'd love to learn how.
