This is a fascinating thread. I'm still working my way through this forum and spent the better part of today just looking through this board. Aside from getting a lesson on ink color and pen variety, I'm amazed at the beautiful lettering and writing displayed. So much talent and all very inspiring.

Currently using:Too many pens inked to list, I must cut back! :) I can guarantee there are flighters, urushi, and/or Sheaffer Vac-fillers in the mix!!!

Stompie, you can make just about any pen sing, but when a really nice one finds its way into your hand we have a concerto. And yes, I did see that 2mm stub on Greg Minuskin's site - wowza!

Hi DET! it was good to see your post a couple of days ago. Things go by so fast on this thread - whew! I bet (in fact I know for certain) you aren't having this kind of weather today:

Sure its nice to extend a season, but winter isn't usually the one folks pick for that.

Back to the topic - fountain pens!

I put a few more pics on my stub thread, didn't want to hog bandwidth here.

My apologies for the rotated picture, but Photobucket keeps giving me error messages when I try to rotate the image. [EDIT: After posting--I don't know how--Photobucket actually responded to the edit. Hopefully the image remains correctly oriented from here on.]

It is interesting (at least to me) to see that the TWSBI fine is about the same size as that Sailor medium. That could also be the effect of the different inks.

Stompie - I think the Duofold I showed might be an International, not a Junior. :hmm1:

My wettest pen is a Parker Sonnet with broad oblique nib.
