Currently using:Too many pens inked to list, I must cut back! :) I can guarantee there are flighters, urushi, and/or Sheaffer Vac-fillers in the mix!!!

It went down like this...

 

Little One: (Very excitedly) Look at the lines when I do this! (Presses down nib.)

 

Me: I know! But gently please... Gently...

 

The squiggles up top are "cursive" apparently. My little one is really very little--but you know, gotta start training the next generation ;)

Eek! I have four little ones, and my youngest (almost 2) is especially curious about daddy's pens. She yanked my Duofold out of my pocket the other day and threw it to the floor causing the button on top of the cap to fly off. Thankfully, it snapped right back on, but I was a little worried there for a minute.

 

I bought the boys (9 and 7) Pelikano Jrs. this fall and they use them at school. I was so proud when they had to change out their cartridges for the first time.

Today is the 16th, btw....

 

bex, we posted earlier at the same time and so I couldn't comment on your awesome new pen! I love the combo of materials and it sounds like the nib is perfect for you. I have a Newton Pens creation waiting to be inked - will bring out this week. He does such great things and is a joy to work with - it seems more like a collaboration, only he does all the work!

It's 3am and I'm reminded again why I shouldn't drink strong coffee late in the evening. Usually the only ones up at this time are GClef and some Brits, only GClef got married yesterday so I'm pretty sure he has more important things to do at the moment than checking FPN.

I hope you are feeling better. At least you can blame your insomnia on the coffee. I often would just awaken during the night without being able to return to sleep for months on end. Gladly, I seem to be enjoying a respite at the moment.

Don't forget the Dutch, David. Even on a Sunday I can manage 9am (only 6 hours difference. Are you having DST already?)

 

I usually compensate for the coffee with a good whisky. Hmmm...Cragganmore last night. cloud9.gif

Thanks! I think the Nemosine is the most intriguing brand that I've come across lately. Haven't seen one negative review. Yours seems to write beautifully, and you do it justice.
