I saw a picture of OcalaFlGuy's blue Cross Century II and he helped me find one online...and it just came in the mail today! You have good taste! This pen is gorgeous. (Note, my camera doesn't do it justice.)

I no longer own any fountain pens... Now they own me.

pugsmanias2, I really like that vintage Parker ink - I have quite a few vintage inks that I use from time to time, but I don't have that one and it looks like a great color! I have a 9284 nib that is my "go to" nib for Esties - a fabulous writer - hope you like yours!

Uncle Red, this one's for you

ETA: When I said "sweet Waterman" I was talking about Uncle Red's in Post #221 above - awesome wet noodle style flex, that one!

Sheaffer Imperial sterling, broad nib, Montegrappa Turquoise.

Beat up black Estie J, extra-fine 2550 nib, Noodler's Dark Matter. This was my first vintage pen from several years ago, and it's really pretty ugly, with lots of scratches and surface marks, but it writes wonderfully and reliably and I'm attached to the scuffs and so I will not ever polish the pen.

Onoto Magna 261, broad nib, R&K Sepia.

Lamy 2000, BB nib, Noodler's Apache Sunset.

An eye for insignificant details is a good sign you will do just fine in medical school...

As a sharp wit and powerful sarcasm is a sign that you already have.

I always have been appreciative of your taste in pens. Not only do you have nice ones, some exquisitely nice but I've always seen them in equally nice cases.

I can only smile and nod in supportive agreement to see that "lowly" Black Estie J as one of your most treasured pens. :clap1: I would consider that not at all faint praise for a pen.

Pictured above is A Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age ballpoint and then the fountain pens in the order they were used.
