Look what just arrived!

What is it?

That looks almost seethough a translucent sort of look to it, very nice.

That, my friend, is a Edison Collier in silver marble~~ And the material is indeed semi-translucent.

Hey hey hey you got one!!!

Congratulations!

If you angle the back of the pen down a bit when you write you will find it flexing a bit easier. Just be careful not to apply too much presssure as you do not want to break or tear the nib.

Today's offerings... Not showing the MB 146 roller or Boheme mech pencil who were both in service this week (and a Sharp Kerry).

My first Opera Elements had a very nice 14k M nib. It was the smoothest nib I've every tried, almost too smooth. But the problem for me was it was too broad for my small handwriting, so I traded it for a Pd EF nib. It's an interesting nib, and somehow feels different than my Homo Sapiens Pd M nib, more flexy, maybe.

You can see just how thin the paper is by the "show through." Note, the ink did not bleed through - just visible due to the thickness of the paper. The paper does a nice job of keeping the ink "on top" while it dries, even with the rather wet Bulow.
