Have any of you used the Rossi 1931 stationery listed here? http://www.paperandc...-envelopes.html I might be willing to splurge on some for special occasions if it is fountain pen friendly. This is what it looks like.

I'd like to hear what you find out. I have some Rossi cahier notebooks that are quite nice. Very FP friendly.

Thanks for the US source, Green Velvet. All of this started because I went looking for the J. Herbin Marie Antoinette ink I saw in this thread: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php?/topic/205329-new-from-jherbin-marie-antoinette-chest-bottle/page__p__2117369__hl__%2Bmarie+%2Bantoinette+%2Bherbin__fromsearch__1&do=findComment&comment=2117369

I ordered the ink from the OP's shop and received excellent service (Thanks, Jean Elie, of www.paperandco.com/en ) so I thought I'd take a look and see what else they carried. This choice was probably a mistake. :headsmack: My wallet is already whimpering. I haven't found any user reviews, though, so I guess that for the good of FPN I'll have to make the sacrifice and order some. :clap1:

This will just be a quick mini-review for today, but I will post a formal paper review in the appropriate forum this weekend. For now, just let me say, Wow. I love this paper. The colors are vibrant and rich, but beyond that, it feels luxurious in the hand, very similar to Original Crown Mill.

I used my wettest, gushiest, flexiest nibs, and I could not MAKE it feather. Honestly.

Someone (Goulets?!) with fast shipping please import this paper! As much as I love the paper, I am only lukewarm about the supplier. There were no problems, but it took nine days to get from California to Texas. The original order from France that sent me on this quest to begin with arrived sooner than that.

Bottom line: If you are looking for paper with that extra something special, treat yourself to some of this.

I have seen their stationery and ROSSI products are just beautiful.

I've not used their stationery but

I am very impressed with their decorative papers and used them on my handcrafted journals :D
