Let me know if you find any, I'm just on the other side of Harrisburg. I think there is one in State College, but that would be a good drive for you.

There is a Paradise Pen store at the mall in King of Prussia. That's the only one I know of, although I'm sure there are others.

Going the other direction on the Turnpike to Pittsburgh, there is JR Weldin (downtown on Wood Street), but that's probably farther then you want to travel.

Pittsburgh to the Harrisburg area and back *is* a day trip though -- I go out to East Berlin sporadically to The Mannings Handweaving Store.

There is one in State College. She's got some nice things there, but really not much in the way of fountain pens.

When I was there for college, I'd swing down, buy a bottle of ink and look at her limited selection of Pelikan M200/M205/M215s. I don't recall her having anything else in the way of fountain pens (save for some Varsitys...I think) but that has been a few years and things could very well have changed.

I've not tried the store in downtown Pittsburgh, what all do they have in the store? I'm about 20 miles out of city and that would be brilliant to have something with a decent selection close. I've yet to find a store in Oakmont/Murrysville/Monroeville area.

Not a pen store, but if you want to buy vintage pens, then head to Adamstown, PA (about 1/2 between Philly and Harrisburg). Renningers typically has a half dozen or more vendors with pens for sale (some nice, many pretty beat up), also other dealers up and down the main drag there (Reading Road??).

I think the last time I was in there they had some Lamy Safaris, don't remember what else. The problem was that most of the pens they had were out of my price range, which is too bad -- that's where I got my $9 Parker Vector a few years ago (but they no longer seem to be listed on Parker's website as an official dealer).

They carry Private Reserve inks (at least some colors -- not sure they have the whole line) and had a color chart for Noodler's. Scott, the guy at the pen counter, said they can special order a lot of other brands (although he also said that they didn't get much call for either Sailor or R&K -- a friend of mine had me ask about those two specifically).

The advantage of Weldin's is that they're convenient for me (I live about 5 miles from downtown), and paying for parking is often cheaper (even at Pittsburgh's exorbitant rates for meters) than paying for shipping. The disadvantage is that they have somewhat crummy hours (and don't have a website, only a relatively poor Facebook page). I would call them before trying to fight your way through downtown traffic -- and keep your fingers crossed about finding a parking spot -- and see if they have something specific in stock (or can order it).
