Laureat Blue & Chrome

Left FPN

Recommended Posts

I had previously mentioned this unusual Laureat in another post but thought it worth while to give it its own post.

As you can see Blue with chrome trim and steel or stainless steel nib.

I had previously owned just a section (L) and could find no reference to this version either on the web or in catalogue.

While it is not in superb condition it is non the less a rare(ish) object.

It was purchased for £10 and probably a fairly good catch at that price.

Added-The section is absolutely blocked and is now soaking. Ultrasonics did not move the old ink.

Please enjoy.

That's a beauty! First time I've seen that finish. The Laureat used to be my favorite pen, back in the mid-80s, and I had several. Never saw one like this, though. I like it!

Nice one, especially for just £10!

My Laureat is a great writer too, though I don't write with it that often.. Hmm.. :hmm1:

Thanks all,

I have revisited my catalogues and conclude it to be of the same style as the early models ie flat top cap and W embosed clip. But was it before the gold hardware versions or after. I suspect before...hopefully. Maybe it has more value than I thought.
