Fountain Pen Stores In Seoul?

Confused about Pen Cafe, then, as the earlier posts from fabri00 (with pictures) implied that that location had closed. You went there, Adam?

Yep. I picked up a bottle of the new Montblanc Lavender Purple from there as they are the only retailer in Seoul that actually even acknowledged its existence. The shop definitely still exists and is open for business!

Very timely, many thanks. Both conveniently located on Line 2. I'll check them out this weekend.

I went looking for the two shops this evening. I did find Pen Cafe, but could not locate Pen Galleria after coming out of the Samseong station. Will try tomorrow.

Pen Cafe has a nice selection of pens and inks, and I found the staff to be quite helpful (one of them even spoke English). The prices were exorbitant (typical of Seoul, I guess), so no purchase.

i visited Bestpen fp store in seoul about one and half months ago. they had good selection of pilot and sailor fountain pens, though they were kinda expensive compared to the prices in japan and ebay. However i bought an Iroshizuku ink for nearly 24 $. Also Diamine 30 ml inks were on sale for about 5$ as far as i remember. I really liked the shop and found that the owner was pretty kind and he was using a twsbi vac 700, though they didnt sell twsbi pen :D Ah, in case you might be interested in, they were also selling Rhodia Notebooks :D

If you would like to purchase TWSBI pens, Penshop Korea sells them! I bought mine from the store near Yeongdeungpo (I gave directions to it earlier in this thread). The price is much more expensive than it is in the US, but unfortunately there aren't many ways to get TWSBI to ship to Korea that aren't also really expensive.

Sounds like there are a few options, although my wife may kill me if we try to visit more than one pen store while we are on this trip! :)

Thank you for letting me know but I am in Turkey now :( During my trip to Korea, i bought a Pilot Custom 74 from ebay (Japan) and had it shipped to my address in Seoul. The shipping was extremely fast (i received it in 2 days) and whole transaction costed less than having it from Korea :D

I was at my local pen shop and the shop manager there gave me the info for the upcoming Seoul Pen Show 2014 and I thought I'd post it here as well in case you guys don't check the community center page. The show will be on April 26th!

I ordered my vac 700 from TWSBI's Taiwan (main) site. With the shipping, the price was still less than I would have paid for one here in Korea after markup. The markup here on things really is too drastic.
