Today I am using "Abhay Pen Agencies " made ACRYLIC TANISHQ (eyedropper)..

I came to know about them browsing through FPN . They make a lot of different ebonite and acrylic pens and

some mixed one too .. This is a pure acrylic pen . A pocket size pen ,it post nicely and well balanced, posted

is my preferred writing style with this pen.. I got two of them in different colors..

These are nice smooth writing pocket pens and they are cheap too ..

Both pens are beautiful.

I have a pen - actually two - looking very much like yours, with on the barrel Mohi Tanishq. What is the meaning of Tanishq? or is it part of the name?

A fellow member from India sent them to me some time ago. And two others. He called all four pens just Mohi.

They are very nice writers, and as you say, pocket (or I would also say, purse) pens. Their acrylic has wonderful depth to it.

Tanishq means "jewel" actually .. Mine doesn't have any kind of brand name engraved over the barrel except "mohi" in the clip and the nib .. Yes there axrylicy is nice considering the price point I would say it's remarkable to have a pen like this in such low price

Thank you. I think yours are like mine, Mohi, since they are so similar. And the jewel is an apt name - they do glow like jewels.

I ordinarily do not like orange - still, one of mine is golden orange, another pink orange, and both are in regular use and I like them a lot - really my only orange pens. It's their jewel-like shine that makes me think them beautiful.

I like the looks of the pearlescent acrylic pens. Apart from my Noodler's Konrad acrylics, I have a Ranga acrylic. I think your yellow & green acrylic looks interesting. A snap of my Ranga.

Have had this pen for many years, & not totally sure. On Ebay, this pen acrylic pattern looks like a 7B. It is a long pen and does not posted deeply, so I write with it unposted.

How have you enjoyed writing with yours? It was a choice between the clear TWSBI Eco & the Galactic. I choose the Galactic, since I already have two Eco's. It is currently in transit.

Based on pure writing experience it's marvellous...there are some minor niggles ,on way to solving those..but it's great

F.P.R. (Fountain Pen Revolution) Treveni Jr. Ebonite. Mottled red, with flat top and bottom. The Treveni Jr. is for the smaller hand. The pen has a 1.0 mm. stub, which writes like a real broad nib; very smooth and wet, with an ebonite feed. The pen can be purchased with either a: EF, F, M, B, Flex or 1.0 mm stub. This pen is affordable, and is nicely polished. It is handmade, with the design on cap & barrel nicely aligned. The entire pen made from the same ebonite material. No step down. Threads are very smooth. Silver tone clip and band around bottom of cap. Clip is springy. The Treveni also comes in a regular size for the larger hand. F.P.R etched on the rim of the cap. Screw cap. Post securely. Cost $39 + $3 for the stub nib. There is a $3 cost for broad, flex or 1.0 mm. stub. The 1.0 mm. stub makes writing with this pen a real delight. Colors: Black, Mottled Green, Mottled Brown, Mottled Blue & Mottled Red. Inked with Montblanc Blue/Black.

Today I am using recently acquired couple of Ranga model no 8

Black matte with dual tone Jowo Fine nib

Black matte with dual tone Jowo Extra Fine nib

Both are inked with Parker Quink blue for the time being.

The pen is very well crafted and has perfect size, balance and nicely shaped hourglass section very comfortable for use.

Both nibs are smooth and wet out of the box and write like true F and EF.

Finally received these two pens after a wait at UK customs. Both pens deserve a full review, very pleased with them! Top is a Glare mini ebonite capsule and bottom is a Gama *piston filler* in black bakul ebonite.

Some more pics of the Glare;

Nice quality and writes well, nib is very springy/ soft/ slight line variation but it is very small. It is kind of a novelty. Ebonite has really nice black and British racing green speckles on top of the murky mottled khaki. The Gama is a great design but the quality could be improved in so many ways. A pic of it capped;

Hopefully I'll do full reviews in a couple of weeks as well as a couple of other interesting pens I've received.

This week I've been using a Ranga Model 3 (fitted it a FPR #6 flex nib/NN feeder and inked with Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses) for my daily morning mental exercises.
