Oh good. I found a number of nice adjustable rings on Etsy, have two coming. One planned for my Nauka, one for one of my Guider Onyxes. Glad they work out. I find your lotus very beautiful.

Where on Etsy did you find the rings? I was inspired by Bob's post and will also add one to my Nauka.

There are several. I just searched for adjustable rings and found several suppliers who have them. Prices vary; don't go for the first you find, look at a number of them.

gopool, mhguda, this is the Etsy supplier of the lotus ring I used. The same ring may be available on eBay for a lower price, but I'm satisfied with the color and finish of this bronze ring. The snake ring in the same style and material also works well on a Nauka. There are more elaborate lotus rings on the same site, but I have not seen them in the flesh.

Bob, I bought a snake ring from this supplier. Looking forward to receiving it!

In fact, I had the idea for a ring like that because I had an old pinky ring that I don't wear anymore, and put that on one of my Naukas... months ago, already, and since then went looking for something similar for my second Nauka... couldn't find it locally, and ended up on Etsy, too.

This is a recent Torpedo.

In the actual model, the bottom button (when opened), will reveal a knob. This knob can be rotated to bring in or bring out the nib unit. When not used the nib will be inside the barrel.

These uses same mould, but without the jolly mechanism. That's the reason for the knob behind..:-)

These are really nice...maybe I should try making these locally in quantity to go with the Naukas.

Gives me ideas...

The elaborate Lotus ring, consists of an Omkar symbol in lotus. The Omkar is very auspicious for us Hindus and is considered the beginning of everything. :-)

Today I am using a no name eyedropper from my local stationary shop. It's nothing remarkable expect the nib

which is a platinum tipped medium nib which writes without any issues even after 2 weeks pause.. The pen is

cheap INR 25 OR 0.3$.. Writing with it is a very pleasant experience with a decent feedback which I like a lot.
