A Pierre Cardin Masterpiece fountain pen. Its a Montblanc-esque clone.

Pretty well made, and cost around INR 300 (USD 6) shipped.

It would be a good idea also to provide some (unaffiliated) sources in this topic where members can procure the pens.

I bought mine from Hindglobal.in, but they have now priced it at INR 400. Also available on Flipkart for INR 500. I'm sure Flipkart does not ship outside India, but not sure about Hindglobal.

Hi,

I got the same pen last week (have been using a Parker Vector for a few years now, wanted something that looks more classy for work). However it writes in very broad strokes and puts out a lot of ink on the paper, leading to smudges when I close my notebook.

Is there anyway to solve this - either by tweaking the nib or using more dense ink?

I don't know where else to post this, so here goes.

I bought & received 4 of these in the mail today. They were in the original package, the only hint of the origin being the "Made in India" label on the package.

I could not make out any details on the pens, so of course I had to buy them the price being ca. 1 USD each.

The ONLY markings on the pens themselves is on the nib, "Iridium Point Germany".

Do they look familiar to anyone, they're very classy looking pens B)

I forgot to add that they're plastic, the gold bits are metal, and they take a universal cartridge.

That looks like a Pierre Cardin pen to me. Look here.

I'm using my Deccan Author today, alternated with my new Advocate junior, my Gama Jumbo demonstrator, and my Kim Student (black) for taking notes on a video lecture with lots of equations to scribble down. That Advocate junior really reminds me of a Waterman!

That is exactly what they look like! However, the Pierre Cardin is said to be made of metal whereas mine is plastic.

The clip, etc looks the same. Might be the same maker, Flair Writing Instruments.

I have a Pierre Cardin ballpoint. Nice pen.

I'll keep digging, thanks for the tip.

A new model called the "Ergo". Long section and reasonable nib size yielding perfect writing comfort for long sessions. I will post a detailed review when i get the time.

But,is where can I get that hooded ib for that old FP in Kolkata ?

Cos I already searched many stores in Kolkata but it seems like to me that FP become almost obsolete in Kolkata.

Luckily I bought a Artex 1120 from Garia,Kolkata.

But,my dams naughty cosine damage the nib too.

So,I need two nibs at the moment.
