Using my Gama two tone dual band from Mesu. Liking it more every day.

And my Small black Kim, from a giver who prefers to remain anonymous... A great pen.

And my Fosfor Islander, by manojd from FPN. Beautiful and a great writer, and my first custom made pen.

Two ebonites and a wooden pen.

It looks nice. Let us know how it writes when it arrives. Is this your first ED fill pen? If so, you might take a look at the filling and priming video on the fountain pen revolution site.

How is it writing with the Ranga? I have looked at them but I am wary of the large step between the barrel and the section.

It just arrived so i haven't had the chance to put it through paces. The Bakul finish is very cool. I think over time it might develop a patina... we will see.

It's all inked up now and I will give my thoughts when I get the chance.

The 302 arrived today and was promptly flushed and filled. It has scarcely left my hand since. The material just begs to be held. Mesu ground the medium nib to a stub, and I'm seeing some nice variation. Truthfully, it's a perfect pen for my deskwork, large ink capacity, balanced, and a tight enough point to make notes within margins, etc. Happy customer :)

Another photo to show off the beautiful marbling pattern:

My Serwex MB found its way back into the rotation. With a new section and nib, it's a pleasure to use. Plus, I'm using the Wality 52P piston filler, filled with Diamine Sargasso Sea.

My newly acquired Gama Supreme, on its maiden voyage inked with a "safe" ink (Pelikan Royal Blue). It's as good a pen as I'd hoped it would be, which is to say it's very nice.

.each pen is unique due to the very nature of the material, getting a pleasant pattern is a matter of luck. Gorgeous ripples on your pen, congrats!

That pen looks scrumptious. And my Gama is a wonderful writer, so I'm guessing yours is, too. Enjoy!

Today will be a day for the Gama medium brown and the Guider Raja. Plus one of the Kim Small pens. All of them ED and recently refilled.

Thanks, Hari. This is the first rippled ebonite pen in my small collection and I'm very happy with the look of the material. Interestingly, not only does the cap tighten with the Gama imprint in line with the clip, but in that position, most of the ripples line up from cap to barrel also. Talk about lucky!

Thanks, mhguda. It's a very good writer. It's not "glass smooth" but rather has just a little hint of feedback, which is actually preferable to me. It's already a favorite!

I just cleaned out an amber/black Guider Acrylic ED, which by the way wrote without incident even though I kept using it until there were only a few drops of ink left in the barrel. Now I have flushed and inked a new Oliver piston-fill amber demonstrator. Great looking pen with a smooth F nib. It seems to need about a centimeter-long dry stroke to prime the nib after the pen has been stored for a while, but after that it writes beautifully.
