Rohrer And Klingner Scabiosa

Like the Alt Bordeaux, this is an ink that got me all excited after reading reviews, but which has disappointed me. I find it dry and uninteresting. I like my colors vivid and don't care about water-resistance that much.

I have two bottles I wouldn't mind trading for something else.

I am all with you, Eric! Got my bottle a few days ago, I was all excited about it, but the moment I put some lines on the paper with my HS 1.3 I was sorely disappointed... :crybaby:

But this doesn't mean that this ink cannot be satisfactory, or even superb, in another pen - say with a M nib. I might try it with my Pelican M800; the only problem is that this pen behaves soooo well with ESSRI and MB Lavender-Purple...

I frequently send postcards. Unfortunately, postcards are often made from very FP-unfriendly paper. Scabiosa is my top ink for those difficult papers, it behaves great on most of them.
