One week from today we will have had our pen meeting. Don't know about anyone else, but I can't wait!!!

Should I bring my Waterman #12 eyedropper? My Delta Titanio? My vintage Parker Vacs and 51s? Oh decisions, decisions...

I look forward to seeing and being with all of you cat, dog, and FP lovers! sm_cat.gifbunny01.gifbunny01.gifbunny01.gifsm_cat.gif (I just love these party animal Chihuahuas in the bunny costumes!)

I expect to be there for 2 -3 hours with my Pendletuning kit if anyone needs it. I will bring a few pens for purchase if there is any interest and at least one fun door prize (everybody should bring something ~ ink is always a good one). I will be happy to take pens home with me for Pendleton Points as well.

I have tickets to the Rockies/Padres game that night and will head to Bolder on Sunday, then up to Steamboat Springs. I have always enjoyed my Rocky Mountain visits and expect this one will be extra special with the Denver Posse as a highlight.

See you Saturday.

OK... a significant factor in the success of any Pen Posse is the presence of sustenance, so...

If we can get a rough idea of how many folks are attending, I'll bring boxed coffee (sounds bad, tastes good) from Starbucks, and maybe some goodies to go with other goodies people might bring!

This will be fun!

Wonderful! Great idea.... At last count, I believe we are expecting around 17 people, there may be more or less, of course, but that should give you some idea of our numbers. A very good turn out for our first pen posse, I think!

Tamara said she would be providing some snacks, iced tea and pop, and I will be bringing some water (yes, I will recycle the plastic bottles) and some munchies as well. All goodies are welcome!

Only a bit more than 48 hours and our Pen Posse is going to be happening! :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01:

Loren,

You're holding out on these people. Where's the wine?

Yes, I'll provide light snacks and some beverages, but if anyone else wants to bring goodies, that would be great :) We are looking at 17 RSVPs, though a few folks were going to drive from Colorado Springs and surrounding area. Not sure if the fires down there will prevent anyone from attending. We all definitely have the good people of Boulder, Fort Collins and the Springs in our thoughts, either way.

Just a bump to keep this fresh and say I can't wait to see everyone!

Raffle: 2 handmade walnut pen rests will be raffled off as well as some other donations. Anyone who wants to contribute, feel free.

What to bring: Pens (yeah some have shown up w/o any FP's!). Paper. Lupe. This is a good place to trade inks too - put a stickie note on it "for trade" and see who bites! You never know - one person's trash is another's treasure!

I usually leave these exhausted with information overload! It will be a great time!

Hi Everyone!

I hope the pen gathering is a lot of fun! I will not be able to attend. Our subdivision in Woodland Park is evacuated; we are safe in South Dakota and will be returning to Woodland Park in the next few days.

I had hoped to have the opportunity to meet at least some of you.....so maybe at the next pen gathering! :)

Enjoy! And I would love to hear any and all details about the gathering! :) Thanks! JaneKW7@aol.com

Take care!

Jane :)

Jane,

Hang in there - so far Teller County has not been touched

I am trying to keep track of things here on Waldo's western front in a a little blog. I hadn't used that since the Hayman Fire...

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm so exhausted by today's pen activities that I needed a nap embarrassed_smile.gif It was even better than expected. Thank you all for attending! Can't wait for the next one.
