Beautiful, xcuse me, how many turns to the right do you give to your pencil inside the sharpener? I found that 3 are the best for a good point.

Hey PenRivers, I’m sorry I didn’t respond sooner. You must be thinking about a different type of sharpener. This shaves the wood like a wood plane

Musgrave Bugle 1816 #2. This is a great pencil that's very light, and keeps a nice point.

I may be the only one in my circle of friends that gets excited about old Wood cased pencils, but I don't care!

I was looking through an old toolbox that was given to me, and found an unsharpened Wallace #251 Special Dispatch; it's similar to a Musgrave News pencil.

Things like that get me going!

I have vintage unsharpened pencils that go back to the early 1900s. I am looking forward to using my Blackwing Volume 42 Jackie Robinson pencils as soon as they arrive. Sometimes I think I live in a time capsule. Using an orange painted Palomino Republic HB woodcased pencil today.

Staedtler 0.9mm Mars Micro with supplied HB lead. Then my old Pentel 0.9mm 120 with a Pilot 2B lead. The switch was like... relaxing a gritted jaw. Many apologies, Germany, but I just don't know what's up with your pencil leads.
