The humble Zebra M-301 in 0.7

I am interested in mechanical pencils, and thought this would be a good way to test the waters

Wow!

I had no idea these existed! B)

Snag some and you will be happy. If not, a regular 602 will bring a smile to your face. There is just something right about work or art consuming the tool. Edited by RLR

These are my favorites you'll find in my hand just about anywhere I'm working with a pencil. The Mars Lumograph is typically what I've got at the desk where I do most of my work. I'm not an artist, so I prefer HB most of the time. Not a fan of mechanicals. Pragmatically, they are hard to beat. Aesthetically they leave something to be desired compared to well-made wood cased pencils. But to each his own. Have a good Saturday night, all!

Different day, different pencil. Last night I was using a Scripto Cassette P1270C 0.7. Today I've a Mirado Black Warrior HB on the clip (I love the Faultless pencil clips!).

The last couple of weeks it has been a Pentel Orenz 0.5 mm in black with black Ain Stein B lead. I am really happy with it.
