Using my silver and black Rotring 600 0,5mm, I just love these things.

Nice tools indeed!

Does a special case accompanies your mechanical pencils in travel because of the fixed tip?

I don't have any kind of case for them right now, I mainly use them at home anyway. I would like to find something cheap to protect my pencils if I need to take them with me, though.

At work there is a super boring 2 hour meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning. There will be 6 of us crammed in a small conference room. I am going to whip these out in order to break up the boredom.

Thank you Waterman inspired blue and Sheaffer red.

Uni Kuru Toga Alpha Gel for writing/math.

A Caran d'Ache Blackwood 499 Jumbo HB for some sketching I needed to do this morning. It's one of my all-time favorite art pencils.

FP Ink Orphanage-Is an ink not working with your pens, not the color you're looking for, is never to see the light of day again?!! If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper! Please PM me!For Sale: TBA

Does anyone know a source of erasers for Waterman Edson Pencils? I am down to my last eraser.

I've seen one store that might sell them in Australia (Pensdeluxe), for $10.50 ASD.

Otherwise, you'll need to start carrying a separate eraser, unless you're the handy type who can make your own from block erasers.

Blackwing Pearl and 602. Gifted to me by a coworker. I purchased the Blackwing sharpener the other week and today I picked up some pencil tip protectors

I've been using the Pilot s20 for a while now. I think I still prefer the s10, but I want to give the s20 a chance to grow on me.

Zebra Delguard 0.5.

I'm waiting for a Delguard 0.3 to come from JetPens. If Zebra can actually make a 0.3 pencil that I can loan to people and not have them break the lead constantly, then I'll have a new desk pencil.

My old friend, the Ticonderoga 1388/2 HB. I got a gross when they stopped making them in the US, and should be good for the rest of my life.

Haven't been on here in a while, but today I'm using a Lamy Spirit 0.5mm with Pentel Ain Stein 2B leads. I love the Lamy Spirit - it's not for everyone as it's very slim, but in the mirror finished stainless steel it resembles a surgical instrument. As far as I'm led to believe, Lamy do not make these any more, so I snapped up another new one not long ago.

You're not alone! I'm a huge fan of Rotring's mechanical pencils, especially the 600. I was so happy when they started selling them here again.

I've been thinking about buying an S20. Would you recommend it? I like heavier pencils, and I really like the look of the S20. The wooden barrel is very attractive, and different from any other pencils I have.
