Papyrus pens

I recently bought some pens at Papyrus paper products that were the equal to any other acrylic bodied pen around. Has anyone ever bought a pen from them before?

I haven't heard of them before.

Can you tell us more, like where they are, the URL if any, and the prices you paid for what pens?

Sorry for the paucity of detail. Unfortunately there isn't anything on their website and I do not have the expertise yet of posting photos, but there seem to be several flat head pens, all fountain with chrome rings around the middle and ends. One of them is slightly larger and hasn't any rings around it. The nibs were the standard German type. I bought four of them. One was red, another was a bright yellow, a third was a beautiful cranberry color, while the fourth and slightly larger pen was a black and white stripped pen. There are no name on either the pen or the nib. I do know they are made of thick acrylic cellulose. The nice thing was that I bought them for $28 each.

standard German type

Sorry - could you clarify that for me? :) Did the nib say "Iridium Point Germany" by any chance :o In that case, there is a possibility that those pens were not made in Germany at all, but in China  No iridium there!

You'll have to post some photos for us to see whether $28 was a good price or not ;) (if you have the pictures on your computer, just attach it when you "Add Reply").

Okay, here's a shot of the nib. It writes like a medium and is relatively smooth. I bought it at a Papyrus in Boston this summer but I put it away because it seemed to dry out quickly. The yellow was the only color they had. I haven't checked the two local Papyrus stores to see if they are carrying it.

Kissing, I also assumed it was made in Asia.

I have a nearly identical nib on a fake montblanc. Its clearly chinese made. (Which means nothing against it- some chinese pens are incredible) Looks like a nice pen.
