Almost forgot...

I used my trusty vintage 1950's Sheaffer Statesman TD, with a two-tone semi-flexible nib, and Waterman Blue-Black, on some Staples paper that handles ink pretty well.

(Had to get this in lest someone gets the idea that I'm proselytizing, or something--because I'm NOT!)
