This entire thread is information rich. I've been more focused on a fountain pen ink that would last, and I'll have to admit that I'd forgotten about sun fading.

 

However, even for making signs for a garage sale, this information has utility.

 

I know I'll be going back to this thread in the future. There's more nuggets here than I'll be able to dig out in just the few times I've been through.

Very interesting tests...now I know which of my inks I won't be writing anything that I might need in the distant future. Just out of curiosity, was the Uni ball vision RT pen that you used 0.6mm or 0.8mm? Thanks.

Awesome experiment! I know a lot here really appreciate this kind of information. I know what kind of work goes into it, too (see my own scan here). I do genealogy and am always on a quest to find the most enduring inks. Tests like these are so helpful. Thanks for all the effort.
