I'll have to remember this thread. I have a 45 en route. Expect to receive next week. Flighter - seller represented as late 1960's but the pictures don't show the top.

Well my 45 arrived today(1/27). I got a steal on this. Turns out it wasn't a plated steel nib after all but a 14k. (took the nib unit out and apart and gave it a good scrub with a old toothbrush revealing the 14k on it....) Makes what I thought was a good deal a great deal. Conical recessed top.
