actually mine is not the 8 horses model -it's the landing eagle-, but yes, it writes very nicely!!!

4: dancheron white and black veins

5: duke spider

6: huahong blue resin

7: dancheron amber barrel

8: "classic" stainless steel

9: bookworm yellow barrel and "fude" nib (oriental calligraphy -i guess?)

10: baoer -after the MB sky... whatever!!

11: jinhao black with faux aballone shell

12: dikawen "success" (?) embossed landing eagle

What do you think about Baoer pens? I have 2. Ones a silver Parker imitation, and another is a blue one. Both I got off eBay. When I got them both the nib needed a good clean and smooth job.

my baoer -shown in the photo (MB look alike)- is very well built. the nib is a medium and quite smooth. never had any issues with it. i don't think i own another bower.... :hmm1: ...

I own a few Baoer pens, all are excellent writers. I bought it from One of India's leading book stores, "Odyssey". If they are retailing it alongwith the greatest of brands, I am sure its in reckon.

 

That aside, I found the nibs very smooth to write and value for money.
